Thermodynamic Steam Trap

The thermal power disc drain valve uses the difference in water flow rate between steam and condensate to drive the disc opening and closing.

Principle

○ Flow rate difference between steam and condensate water

○ Pressure changes generated by secondary steam

Parameter

○ Rated pressure: PN25

○ Maximum allowable pressure of valve body: 2.45 MPa/200 ℃

○ Maximum allowable temperature of valve body: 450 ℃/1.03MPa

○ Factory steam action test:>3 times/1.6MPa

○ Maximum working pressure: 1.6MPa

○ Maximum operating temperature: 350 ℃

○ Factory cold test pressure: 3.8MPa

○ Air test: 2.0MPa

Performance

○ The valve body and valve cover are made of forged steel, cast steel, and stainless steel

○ The valve disc and seat are made of martensitic stainless steel

○ After heat treatment and aging treatment, they remain unchanged and wear-resistant under high temperature and high pressure, thereby improving the service life of the drain valve

○ Stainless steel insulation sleeve, used for isolating and slowing down heat loss, and eliminating ineffective actions

○ The internal structure of the flow channel is strictly designed according to Bernoulli's equation, and the structure is reasonable

○ Built in filter enables the drain valve to operate in a clean environment

○ Back pressure rate up to 80% or higher

○ In order to eliminate low-temperature condensed water with high undercooling, customization is required

Application

○ Efficient drainage of steam main and branch pipes to prevent water hammer phenomenon

○ The superheated steam system needs to respond quickly to drainage situations due to the lack of condensed water

○ Compact installation position for air compressor steam tracing or small steam equipment

○ Restricted areas for high-temperature steam pipelines in the papermaking and printing and dyeing industries

○ Outdoor or harsh environments require maintenance free, corrosion-resistant drain valve conditions
